I’m on this journey with you.
First diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome at age 16, my academic and career trajectory was fueled by the constant need to understand and overcome the illness. Through the entire process, KNOWLEDGE WAS MY BEST MEDICINE. While ME/CFS remains a mystery, I learned smart, effective ways to overcome the debilitating nature of the illness. These strategies are based on years of trial and error, a vast look at the scientific literature, a sampling of multidisciplinary methods, and unending devotion to the cause.
Using both conventional allopathic medicine and integrative medicine, I was able to regain control of my health. I sincerely believe you can too! The foundation of this approach is rooted in simple dietary changes that effectively reduce inflammation in the body, improve intestinal health and metabolism, and boost immune function.
After years of pushing myself to the brink, I was able to recover enough to live a bustling NYC life and then move to Southern Germany. Here, I frequently travel, hike, and bike picturesque locations. Some of these scenes are captured throughout this website.
I received my clinical training at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida. I also completed undergraduate study in exercise science at the College of William and Mary. I graduated with honors from the University of Bridgeport’s Human Nutrition Institute Master program. I studied at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, with a focus on nutrition and biomedical research. I was a visiting scientist at Cornell’s Center for Enervating Neuroimmune Disease.
